Meet the staff at Turning Path!

Laura J. Cheshire has been a nurse for over 35 years, and a family nurse practitioner for most of that time. She has done many different types of nursing, but has always preferred women's healthcare. She loves the outdoors, and feels best near her family (including a whole lot of animals), the ocean, big trees, or her flower garden. She feels blessed to meet wonderful, interesting women, and to support them in achieving wellness and healthy balance in their lives. Her medical training was classically western in its focus, but now includes a holistic base that welcomes and values many health disciplines. She would be the first to say that healthcare should be a partnership between practitioner and patient, that healing is always about relationship, and that she can always count on learning as much from her patients as they ever do from her.

Bobbi McQuinn is a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who has a passion for patient focused health care. She gives each woman compassionate, professional care and attention. She is delighted to be a caregiver at Turning Path where she can interact and care for each individual as a person not just as a patient. In her free time, Bobbi has been known to play a hand or two of poker with her poker group. She putters around her farm when she is not off on a "girls weekend" with her buddies. Bobbi is crazy about her granddaughter and would rather be playing Grandma than anything else in the world.

Allana White is our other office operations coordinator and medical assistant. She is taking a breather from school as she graduated from University of Oregon with a degree in Human Physiology and Chemistry in 2007 and plans to attend medical school soon. Allana is a native Bend resident and she enjoys all of Central Oregon's outdoor recreation opportunities. In her spare time she enjoys riding her motorcycle, running, hiking, and skiing. Allana's passion for health is just one of the many positive things that benefit Turning Path. She is friendly, efficient and and will make you feel welcome and cared for as soon as you walk in the door.
